The magic of hands!

Magic! Hand movements used by magicians in their tricks can be used as a form of hand therapy for children with disabilities. After practicing specific hand movements to perform magic tricks daily living activities such as using cutlery and tying shoe laces becomes so much easier. Therapy can be fun if we use activities that are meaningful and fun! NHS Lambeth is now using a scheme so there is more funding and more children involved in the magic camp scheme.
