Bach at Easter

What better way to celebrate Easter than to immerse yourself with Bach!

This article discusses the influences of Bach on composers, musicians and audiences throughout the ages.

I certainly would have the complete works of Bach if I were to choose one composer for my desert island experience.

Flying with your instrument?

My sister was not allowed to take her bassoon on board a plane last year as it was considered ‘dangerous’!

This new ruling is good news for musicians who fly with their instruments. Musicians who board planes must be allowed to carry their instruments on board provided they fit in the overhead bin.

Three year old professional golfer!

Three year old Tommy developed a passion for golf when he was eighteen months old. He was born with out a right arm and can play better than most people who have two arms! An incredible bond between Tommy and his father has developed due to their mutual passion for the game. Tommy can shine on the golf course which has become his sanctuary.  He says ‘I do my best’ and is proving that with the right attitude most things are possible!
